Last week I attended the Seguimi event in Milan by TikTok for Business dedicated to sharing best practices with creative agencies.
I took a bunch of notes, but these are my top 5 takeaways from the session 👀

1️⃣ 87% OF USERS ARE THERE TO FIND STORIES THEY CAN RELATE TO
TikTok asked their users why they spent time on the platform and “relatability” won by a landslide.
2️⃣ GREAT CONTENT START BY SCROLLING
The best way to brainstorm content is to scroll the for you page and note down the trends that can be a fit for your client’s account
3️⃣ COMMUNITY GENERATED ENTERTAINEMENT >>> USER GENERATED CONTENT
UGC is what we were doing on Instagram. On TikTok we have to think about entertainment first, even when doing sponsored collaborations with creators.
4️⃣ MOBILE-SHOT WINS THE A/B TEST
A series of a/b tests have shown that TikToks shot from mobile perform better than “professional” ones.
5️⃣ THERE IS A STRONG B2B USE CASE FOR TIKTOK ADS
Edenred Italy has been able to do B2B lead gen with TikTok very well, getting Linkedin-quality leads with a nice 25% discount on the Cost per Lead. Impressive.
